Magixx makes surprising revelations while promoting debut album ‘I Dream In Colour’

Nigerian singer Alexander Adelabu, better known as Magixx, has stirred excitement and curiosity with a series of revelations about his upcoming debut album, “I Dream In Colour.”
The Mavin Records artiste took to X (formerly Twitter) to share intimate details about the inspirations behind several tracks on the album.
One of the most shocking disclosures came when he revealed that the last track was born out of a harrowing experience involving a childhood friend.
“The last track on my album was because of my childhood friend that threatened to get me killed,” he wrote, leaving fans intrigued about the depth of emotion in the song.
Magixx also delved into his love life, revealing that track 3 is dedicated to his three girlfriends.
“My amazing three girlfriends are the reason I made track 3. I want to @ you all, but you know yourselves. I love you,” he tweeted, sparking a frenzy among fans reacting to his unconventional relationship status.
Further adding to the album’s backstory, he disclosed that the tracks ‘Bad Decisions‘ and ‘Foreplay‘ were inspired by former Big Brother Naija housemate, Veeiye.
He also shared that his first conversation with Nigerian rap icon Olamide had a profound impact on him, leading to the creation of track 12.
Among the most talked-about revelations was his bold claim about track 8, which he believes will draw comparisons between him and Afrobeats superstar Wizkid.
Playfully addressing Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy, he wrote: “Don Jazzy, in case you ever fall in love, I’ll be performing TRACK 8 at your wedding.”
Magixx’s candid confessions have sparked widespread anticipation for ‘I Dream In Colour,” with fans eager to experience the stories and emotions woven into each song.
As the album’s release date approaches, expectations continue to soar for what promises to be a deeply personal and creatively ambitious project.
