    M.I Abaga, a veteran Nigerian rapper and label executive, has shared the release date for his forthcoming album

    He confirmed that his upcoming album ‘The Guy‘ would be released on August 19, 2022.

    The multi-award-winning rapper revealed this in a tweet on Tuesday 19th July 2022.

    “Prepare to meet The Guy. August 19th, 2022” MI tweeted alongside a promotional video for the album.

    ‘The Guy‘ will be M.I’s 7th solo album and it has been touted to be his best album yet.

    Recall that Mp3bullet.ng reported that ahead of the release of his next album in August 2022, the multi-award-winning superstar announced on social media that he will be changing his stage name from “Mr Incredible Abaga (MI Abaga)” to a new one.

    Abaga who made significant contributions to hip hop is one of Nigeria’s most accomplished and influential artists.

    He has stated that his seventh studio album, which will be released soon, would be defining.

    He revealed that because the forthcoming album is hard it serves a new name and he would be retiring the stage name he has been using for 15 years.
