Lyta opens up on his current relationship with Olamide, blames bad advice for their fallout
Lyta, a former YBNL artist, discloses the current situation of his relationship with his former boss, Olamide.
Lyta, the singer of “Monalisa,” who was a member of YBNL at the beginning of his career, said in a recent interview that he took the wrong advice and that it caused problems for him in YBNL and ultimately caused him to leave the label.
He claims that when he first got his big break under Olamide with his hit song Time, he should not have paid attention to the bad advice he received from friends because he was still a budding musician.
He claims that he lost his partnership with Olamide because he listened to the wrong people. According to Lyta, Olamide was only supporting him since they were not obligated by a contract.
Speaking about their current relationship, Lyta reveals that he and Olamide are cool. Although they don’t speak on the phone, according to him, he texted Baddo on his birthday this year and he replied.

The “Worry” singer asserted that despite Olamide unfollowing him on Instagram, there is no animosity between the two of them because he maintains a cordial connection with his former employer.
Lyta, however, explains that he doesn’t blame himself for the situation that happened and the bad decision he made because upcoming artists are supposed to experience such so they can learn.
The singer also made a second pitch to Olamide, saying that he wants to return to YBNL.
