    Having spent Christmas in a hospital in Durban after suffering a small stroke on December 23, musician L’vovo Derrango is now doing well at home. Musician L’vovo Derrango has been admitted to hospital after he suffered a stroke during a performance in Ndwedwe, KwaZulu-Natal.

    L’vovo, who was born Thokozani Ndlovu, had a stroke while performing in KwaZulu-Ndwedwe, Natal outside of Durban and he was taken to the hospital right away, where he learned that he had had a stroke.

    The singer was released on Thursday after making a full recovery, according to his manager Sthabiso Dladla, who was also in the studio recording the singer’s upcoming Extended Play.

    Derrango Records released a statement saying that the performer had a small stroke on Friday. He has been admitted to the hospital and is reportedly doing well with the medicine.

    Mampintsha, who passed away on Saturday after having a stroke last week, was friends with Ndlovu.

    The country has been said to have suffered a great loss with the passing of the 40-year-old musician, whose real name was Mandla Maphumulo. His funeral’s specifics have not yet been made public.

    Meanwhile, there were statements released that said  “This is a public notification to media, events promoters, fans and all relevant stakeholders by Derrango Records on behalf of its multi-award winning artist by the name of Thokozani Sphamandla Ndlovu also known as ‘Lvovo Derrango’.

    “Lvovo Derrango suffered a minor stroke during his performance at Indwedwe on [Friday]. He is admitted to the hospital for medical attention and he is responding very well. We kindly ask that you keep him in your prayers and we’re confident that he will come out of this difficult situation stronger. The family kindly ask for the public and media to respect their privacy during this difficult time,”
