After months of anticipation and a brief delay, Nigerian singer and songwriter Lojay has finally locked in a new release date for his debut album “XOXO.”

The project, originally slated for August, will now arrive on Thursday, October 10, 2025.
The Grammy-nominated star raised the excitement further by unveiling the album’s full 14-track lineup, which features a rich mix of collaborators from across the globe.
Fans can expect appearances from Colombian superstar Feid, UK-based talent Odeal, South Africa’s rising powerhouse Tyla, and Nigerian hitmaker Victony.
Among the standout tracks are ‘Mwah!’ featuring Odeal, ‘Body‘ with Feid, ‘Memories‘ alongside Tyla, and ‘Sawa‘ with Victony. Lojay also holds his own on solo records like ‘Sale,’ ‘Shiver,’ Jericho,’ and ‘Alright.’
The project promises a seamless fusion of Afrobeats, R&B, and cross-continental sounds further proof of Lojay’s versatility.
The delay, first announced in August, was explained by the singer as a matter of perfection. Sharing a heartfelt note with his fans, he admitted the decision wasn’t easy but necessary.
“This being my debut album, it’s so important to me that when you press play, it feels timeless,” he wrote. “After all this time, I want to be sure it’s exactly right.”
