This won’t be the first time that a AI-generated Drake singing a song will be going viral.
Recently, someone made an AI-generated Drake voice rapping an Ice Spice song Munch that featured a fake verse by him, to which Drake posts on Instagram, “This is the final straw AI.”
On social media, a song with AI-generated voices posing as Drake and the Weeknd went popular.
The song, titled Heart On My Sleeve, depicts the two performers trading lyrics about Selena Gomez, a pop artist and actress who once dated The Weeknd.
The song was allegedly made by software tuned to the musician’s vocals, according to the creator, who goes by the handle @ghostwriter.
The song was first uploaded under the artist name Ghostwriter on streaming sites after being posted on TikTok by a user going by the handle Ghostwriter977.
Although the lyrics appear to be Ghostwriter’s, the voices are unmistakable. The song also features a Metro Boomin tag, albeit he did not produce it as far as we know.
Before it was pulled from streaming services by Universal Music Group (UMG) on 17 April, it had racked up 600,000 Spotify streams, 15m TikTok views and 275,000 YouTube views.
