    This is a highlight of every African based artist that has recorded an entry on the US Billboard Hot 100

    Billboard Hot 100 is somewhat regarded as the most standard and credible chart in the world, and a very big feat for African artists to record an entry by original work.

    According to Wikipedia, the Billboard Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by Billboard magazine, chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States.
