‘People‘ has gained popularity both abroad and in Nigeria since its release. The song has now peaked at No. 2 on the most recent UK Singles Chart (April 14–April 20, 2023).
This sees it become the highest charting African song in the chart’s history as it breaks the last peak record of NO. 3 held by CKay’s ‘Love Nwantiti‘.
