Legendary artiste, Femi Anikulapo-Kuti blows hot as he reacts to the Nigerian Government paying kidnappers ransom to retrieve abducted pupils.
While sharing his thought on the issue on his social media page, he wrote a couple of words explaining how displeased he is with the Nigerian government.
He questions the responsibility of the Nigerian government towards its citizens.
Also, he questions why the government pays bandits and not provide basic human necessities.
His tweet;
“But if government has that kind of money to pay of kidnappers, bandits etc why didn’t they use it to develop speedily, healthcare, government schs etc, so all feel great in the country.even the train just purchased breaks down.”
Although Femi has been active in support of good governance, therefore this should not come as a surprise.
Like his late father Fela, Femi has been a strong advocate for good governance and always reveals with his music.
