Social media is in a frenzy after a leaked voice note surfaced, allegedly exposing tension between socialite Sophia Egbueje and influencer Ama Reginald over Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy.
The viral audio, which emerged on the 27th of February 2025, reportedly captures Egbueje’s frustration after Reginald allegedly persuaded her into a romantic encounter with Burna Boy, promising that the singer would reward her with a Tesla Cybertruck—a promise that seemingly went unfulfilled.
In the leaked conversation, the 20-year-old model and content creator vents about how Ama, her boyfriend King Manny, and Bayrock Club’s owner encouraged her to engage with Burna Boy in 2024, assuring her of receiving a futuristic vehicle. However, she claims that after everything, Burna Boy “disappeared—no text, nothing.”
Adding fuel to the controversy, Sophia also accused Ama of betrayal, alleging that while she waited for the promised luxury vehicle, Ama was instead seen partying with Burna Boy and his rumored new girlfriend, American singer Chloe Bailey.
The drama intensified further when another socialite, Bohair, went live to air her grievances about Ama’s alleged manipulative nature.
As the scandal gains traction, neither Burna Boy, Ama Reginald, nor Chloe Bailey have publicly addressed the allegations.
