2Baba is said to have fled to the United States from his residence in Nigeria following a recent quarrel with his wife Annie Idibia.
According to reports, 2Baba bolted following a violent altercation with Annie Idibia, which purportedly resulted in the loss of a tooth.
The singer’s management appears to have acted quickly and whisked him away to the United States to calm off while the situation in his home is resolved.
Annie could be heard weeping bitterly about her husband’s relationships and the participation of his family in it in a leaked audio clip shared by famous blogger GistLover.
Recall she recently chastised her husband on Instagram for alleged infidelity with his baby mama, Pero.
2Baba’s siblings were also involved in the situation as they dragged her on Instagram.
However, 2Baba is yet to respond to the situation only choosing to drop a song titled “Searching” which most fans have interpreted to him reacting to the situation.
Meanwhile, new audio of her crying was released on Instagram today, in which she revealed that 2Baba left for America after lying to her about having a shoot.
She stated she thought everything was fine.
In the audio, Annie could be heard saying that her husband informed her he had a shoot, only for her to discover that he had packed virtually all of his belongings and gone for America without notifying her and that she is now unable to contact anybody since no one will answer her phone calls.
Adding that his family despises her and has been tormenting her for the past ten years that she has been married to the singer, and that she is unable to contact his manager or cousin because they all believe she is the source of his problems.
