    Fast-rising Nigerian rapper and singer Laycon has reacted to critics addressing him as ‘Ikorodu Kendrick Lamar’.

    In a question and answer session with Laycon responds to critics calling him “Ikorodu Kendrick Lamar.”

    While addressing the issue, the singer made it clear that he isn’t really bothered or concerned.

    “I mean dude if I’m going to be the one to put Ikorodu on the map, so be it. But guys, really mehn; you all really concerned about that.”

    Additionally, to him he isn’t compared to popular footballer Lionel Messi which means they recognise him as an artist.

    “the whole point is that they didn’t compare me as Lionel Messi and that confirms that they know me as an artiste.”
