Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ Becomes Certified Gold In UK, Sets New Record
Burna Boy, the self-proclaimed African Giant and Odogwu of the Nigerian music industry, has scored another victory as his song, Last Last receives Gold certification in the United Kingdom.
The song ‘Last Last’ was certified gold by the Brits on September 23, 2022, after selling 400,000 units in the United Kingdom, making Burna Boy the African artist with the most gold certifications in the region.
On September 23, the official Brits Awards Twitter account confirmed this certification along with a graphic of the Last Last album cover showing a gold stamp.

The UK certification of Burna Boy’s Last Last brings his total to three Gold certifications, including that of his Ye single and African Giant album.
Recall it was Friday, July 29, 2022, that ‘Last Last’ was declared Brit Certified Silver by the British Phonographic Industry after over 200,000 units of the song were sold in the United Kingdom, UK.
The certification offers further proof of the song’s acclaim and success internationally and is also a marker of Burna Boy’s global fame.
Burna Boy has announced that he intends to release ‘Love, Damini‘ deluxe. The deluxe will likely come with a ‘Last Last‘ remix that features Nigerian British rapper Dave.
The arrival of the remix will further propel the song to fame in the United Kingdom and give it a shot for a platinum plaque.
