Larry Gaaga appointed to lead Gamma’s expansion into Africa as Vice President and General Manager.
As Gamma expands its business in Africa, the Nigerian music industry renowned artist, Larry Gaaga, has been appointed as the organization’s newest (VC) vice president.
The choice by Gamma to increase its presence in Africa and the Middle East in May had a direct bearing on Larry Gaaga’s recruiting.
Sipho Dlamini, a South African music executive, will lead the new divisions as president, with Larry Gaaga serving as vice president.
Gaaga will bring a wealth of experience to his new position. Previously, he served as vice president of A&R at Def Jam Africa. The company will be based in Lagos.

The company also named veteran Arab DJ, Dany Neville as vice-president of A&R, Middle East, and will be operating out of Dubai.
