Seyitan, the lady who accused D’banj of rape has been released from police detention after she was reportedly arrested for accusing him.
It was reported that D’banj had Seyitan arrested after he released a statement on social media concerning her allegations.
D’banj had demanded that Seyitan pay him 100 million Naira within 48 hours for damages done to his public image following the rape accusations.
Seyitan had also through her lawyers demanded that D’banj give her a public apology over the rape incident which she claims happened in 2018 in Glee Hotel, Victoria Island.
Update: She has been released but the legal journey has just started. Please keep doing everything you can to ensure she has a fighting chance. Justice should not come with a side of oppression!
