The lady who accused D’banj of rape has been arrested by the police over the allegations.
Recall that Mp3bullet.ng had reported that D’banj was slammed by a talent scout and model, Benjamin Ese for raping his friend in her hotel room. This incident supposedly happened in 2018.
The lady involved in the issue later came out to identify herself as Seyitan Babatayo and through her lawyers demanded that D’banj make a public apology to her.
D’banj later through his lawyers responded claiming that Seyitan was trying to ruin his image. He also demanded that she pay him 100 million Naira within 48 hours for damages.
Now, Seyitan’s lawyers in an interview with Premium Times said that she has been arrested by the police and though they have started processing bail for her.
Investigative Journalist, Kiki Mordi reported through her Twitter page that Seyitan is still being held by the police in Sodipo, Ikeja.
She said that the seyitan’s lawyers have reasons to believe that the police is trying to coerce Seyitan to recant her accusations.
Seyitan accused D'Banj a couple of weeks before this article of sexual assault.

I spoke to her lawyers and they also have reason to believe she's being coerced to recant her accusations but with no one having access to her it's difficult to ascertain!
