Online discussion has been sparked by the response of a Nigerian lady who lost her cool when singer Davido took her phone to record himself during a recent concert.
During his performance in Dubai, Davido got closer to the front-row audience members, who all held out their phones to the singer.
After a short while, Davido grabbed one of the ladies’ phones, and as he started to record himself on stage with it, she screamed in delight.
He gave the woman, who was still lost in the song minutes later, the phone back.
Sharing the video online, the grateful fan expressed her joy and excitement at meeting her favourite performer.
She declared Davido to be her favourite musician in the entire world and thanked him for making her year.
Many people have praised Davido for his close relationship with his fans on social media in response to the touching moment between him and his adoring fan.

Fans of Davido on Twitter, also known as 30BG, have compared the number of streams Wizkid’s five-month-old record, “More Love, Less Ego,” received in its first month of release to those of Davido’s most recent album, Timeless.
‘Timeless’ recorded a total streams of 469.67M in its first month. Meanwhile, ‘More Love, Less Ego’, released five months ago, have 422.753 million total streams.
