Nigerian hip-hop star Ladipoe is gearing up to take center stage at the Hennessy Cypher Africa 2024.

This annual lyrical showdown brings together some of the continent’s hottest rap talents. Joining Ladipoe on the mic is a powerful lineup: Ivory Coast’s rising star Didi B, Kenya’s lyrical powerhouse Khaligraph Jones, who is revered for his complex wordplay and social commentary, and Ghana’s heavyweight Sarkodie, known for his longevity and ability to seamlessly blend English and his native dialect, Twi. Sarkodie recently released “Brag,” a track where he took aim at other rappers.

Also in attendance will be Tanzania’s fast-rising rapper Young Lunya, and South Africa’s Maglera Doeboy, a kwaito and hip-hop fusion artist celebrated for his raw energy and streetwise bars.
