Nigerian heavyweight rapper Ladipo Eso, popularly known as Ladipoe, has revealed why he changed from his former name, Poe.
After signing with Mavin Records, the heavyweight rapper had to change his name from Poe.
The Mavin records act, whose new single ‘Big Energy‘ is already gaining traction, is currently one of Nigeria’s and Africa’s most sought-after rappers.
Speaking in an interview with ace media personality Kemi Smallz at Cool FM, the rapper revealed that he had to change his name from “Poe” to “Ladipoe” due to copyright issues.

The father of one claims that his song “Man Already” was featured in the discography of an American singer with the same last name as him, Poe, which led him to choose his current name, Ladipoe, a twitch of his original name, Ladipo.
The lyricist went on to speak about his plans for the year, his plans for having a headline show, he talks about his career and went on to speak about his new single, ‘Big Energy’.
