Nigerian musicians, Ladipoe and Timaya have shared their reactions to Nigeria’s Super Eagles win today over the team from Egypt at the 2021 AFCON.

Recall, Nigeria’s men’s football team, the Super Eagles, won a tight 1-0 victory over Egypt yesterday at the 2021 AFCON, prompting reactions from music sensations Ladipoe and Timaya.

The game took place on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

The Super Eagles defeated Egypt in their first game of the competition thanks to a first-half score from Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho.

Despite the best efforts of the Mohammed Salah-led Pharaohs, they could not quite break down the resilient Eagles team by the final whistle.

The win of Nigeria over their counterparts from Egypt in the opening AFCON 2021 games led to widespread celebrations around the country with reactions from music stars like Timaya and Ladipoe.

The reality star, Tacha was also very vocal even before the game, during, and after the game as well.

She predicted that Iheanacho will have a good outing on the day which came to fulfilment.
