L.A.X recounts how Wizkid looked after him despite his father’s wealth.
In a recent statement, Damilola Abdul Rasak Afolabi, professionally known as L.A.X, sheds additional information on his professional relationship with Wizkid.
L.A.X, the “Gbefun” crooner who recently launched his new album No Bad Vibes, was a special guest on the “Echoo Room” show hosted by prominent Nigerian media personality, Quincy Jonze.
Notably, upon his return to Nigeria from the United Kingdom, L.A.X met Wizkid through his stylist and went on to secure his first professional recording contract with Starboy Entertainment in 2013.
He joined producers Legendury Beatz and Maleek Berry on the label.
The label also released the video for ‘Caro,’ which features Wizkid and L.A.X and was directed by Moe Musa.
In a recent interview, LAX revealed how Big Wiz showed him so much affection while he was signed to Starboy Entertainment.
According to LAX, despite the fact that his father is a billionaire and has given him money for his music video, Wizkid will still spend his own bag (money) on him.
At the time, LAX stated that Wizkid would shell out N5 million for his music video and even assist him with promotion despite the fact that it was a partnership contract.
