KZN police reject claims of gun linked to AKA’s murder

Police in KwaZulu-Natal have denied claims the gun used in AKA’s murder. On Tuesday morning, there were reports that the gun used to assassinate Forbes in Durban, Kiernan, had been located.

According to provincial police spokesperson Lt. Col. Robert Netshiunda, “some media houses, who clearly seem hell-bent to sabotage any police endeavours to find the killers and bring justice to the families of the victims, started the day on Tuesday morning with unsubstantiated rumours and malicious allegations about the recovery of the so-called murder weapon.

“This insensitive, unethical, and inconsiderate reporting has great potential of arming the persons of interest with ammunition to further complicate police progress into the matter.”

According to him, the police are making significant progress in their investigation and the media should stop spreading rumours that are untrue.

“Journalists are also advised against formulating uncorroborated allegations for the sole reason of triggering a reaction or soliciting commentary from the police. The zeal to break the story should never surpass the responsibility to report truthfully and ethically.”

Furthermore, Despite being deceased, Kiernan AKA Forbes continues to triumph by virtue of the success of his track Lemons(Lemonade).

The single featuring Nasty C has been certified five times platinum, according to the music label the rapper signed with, Vth Season, which made the announcement on Wednesday.

“With a heavy heart we announce that Lemons to Lemonade by @akaworldwide and @nasty_csa is 5 x PLATINUM with over 12 million streams +,” the label wrote.

The business congratulated the listeners for streaming the song, which has now had more than 12 million streams.

“We wish to thank every single listener, fan and the MEGACY and all the creative talent that worked on this song and album. You have helped make a MASTERPIECE and you have made Kiernan very proud.”
