Kizz Daniel’s Show Promoter Discusses His Tanzanian Arrest
Stephen Uwa Ojiekhudu, the show promoter of Kizz Daniel’s unsuccessful Tanzanian performance, has revealed details regarding the singer’s detention in the East African nation.
The promoter who spoke with an air of utter despair had granted an online interview to media personality, Freeze and had opened up on Kizz Daniel’s excuse for not making an appearance at the show.
According to him, the Buga star had claimed that he couldn’t perform as wasn’t in possession of his travelling bag which had his gold chain in it and couldn’t perform without said claim.
Ojiekhudu further disclosed that even though his business was brand-new to the nation, he had invested no less than $300,000 in building it, with tables costing between $5,000 and $10,000. And he continued by saying that he had made plans to get Kizz Daniel a replacement set of clothes.
The show’s producer also revealed that Kizz Daniel had been engaged by well-known concert organiser Paul Okoye, who had pleaded with the singer to attend the performance and, in the words of Ojiekhudu, had called in from America and cried.

In response to his reluctance to take the stage at a headline performance he had been booked for in Tanzania, Kizz Daniel was detained early on Monday, August 8, in the evening.
This development comes after he was booed by showgoers in DMV for turning up several hours late. The singer had also made a no-show at his Denver show which he’d abruptly cancelled.
Presently, the Tanzanian police is yet to issue an official statement regarding the star’s arrest and there’s no information concerning bail or a court hearing.
