Kizz Daniel Speaks On Arrest And Apologises To Tanzanians
The Buga crooner Kizz Daniel has apologised to his fans and provided his version of events that led to allegations of an arrest in Tanzania.
In addition to explaining his side of the incident and expressing regret to his Tanzanian fans, Kizz Daniel also opened out about the problems that prevented him from performing.
The artist, who had given a news conference to members of Tanzania’s local media, had explained the circumstances that had led to his absence. Kizz Daniel claimed that his travel plans had changed as a result of a one-hour flight delay from Uganda, where he had performed the day before.
The delay, according to Kizz Daniel, caused extra problems because he missed his connecting flight from Kenya to Dar es Salaam.
By the time he reached Tanzania by one in the morning, he had learned that the airline had left his bag, which contained both clothing and equipment for band members, behind.
In addition, Kizz Daniel said he had kept the show promoter informed during these difficulties and had made the decision to go forward with the performance despite their difficulties.

The performer revealed that in addition to working with neighbourhood stylists to replace his misplaced attire, he had also been unable to conduct a mic check because the guests had already begun to settle in.
Kizz Daniel then revealed that, in the midst of their last-minute preparations, the show is organisers, promoters, and himself had some outstanding problems that they had handled.
The venue, however, had been desecrated by incensed fans by the time they finished that and were prepared to continue the performance. He further maintained that he had not been arrested, but had been summoned by police for questioning since his name was related to vandalism at the location of the performance he did not perform at.
The singer who has now openly promised to make-up for lost time to his fans by performing at a free show also apologised to his Tanzanian fans and expressed his love for the country and her people.
Recall that news about Kizz Daniel’s arrest surfaced on the 8th of August following reports that he’d been absent at his headline show in Tanzania.
