The ‘Barnabas EP,’ which is his fourth studio release, has seven (7) excellent tunes, including Oshe by Highlife band The Cavemen and Skin by German rapper Kelyvn Colt.

He is best known for his singles “Woju” and “Yeba”. He went by the stage name Kiss Daniel prior to changing it in May 2018.

Introduction

He signed a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment in 2013 but left the label following a publicized contract dispute and court case.

He founded the Fly Boy Inc record label in November 2017. In November 2017, Kizz Daniel announced his split from his record label, G-Worldwide, and created his own label called FLYBOY I.N.C.

He was sued in court by the former record label but was not found guilty of any of the crimes he was accused of.

In May 2018, Kizz Daniel announced that he had changed his stage name from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel, a name that immediately reflected on his social media accounts.

New Spotify and Apple Music accounts were also created immediately with the names Kizz Daniel, with his new songs featured.

In June 2018, Kizz Daniel’s former record label G-Worldwide made a move to own the rights to the name “Kizz Daniel” and further advised the singer to desist from using the name or face legal consequences in a press release sent out to media houses.

In October 2018 Daniel responded to the suit and statement made by his former record label G-Worldwide through his own lawyer.

Flyboy Inc Era

Titled No Bad Songz, it contains 20 songs and featured Nasty C, Diamond Platnumz, Philkeyz, Demmie Vee, DJ Xclusive, and Sarkodie.

The album was well-received by music fans and debuted at number 55 on the US iTunes Chart, becoming number 1 on the World Album Chart within a day of its release.

Kizz Daniel has spent a relatively long time on the music scene but he is one of the youngsters taking Nigerian music to the next level.

Because of the likes of him, Afro-pop is taking its place as one of the most recognized music genres in the world and that is something that we all relish!

Hot on the heels of the success of his initial single, Kizz Daniel released a follow-up single, “Laye,” another sensational hit in 2015, instantly positioning him as one of the artistes to watch out for in the future.

In the same year, Kizz released his first studio album, ‘New Era’ clearing up every remaining sentiment lingering in the mind of music lovers and stakeholders in the music industry.

Cementing his reputation as one of the most incredible young artistes of the time, this enigmatic talent embarked on features and partnerships, working with various heavyweights in the music industry in stellar productions which led to Kizz releasing his second studio album ‘No Bad Songz’ in 2018.

However, an impressive body of work debuted at number 55 on the US iTunes Chart and became number 1 on the World Album Chart within a record-breaking 24 hours of its release.

Fast forward to 2020 where this relentless star released his third studio album ‘King of Love’, an impeccable 17-track album that had hit songs such as ‘Pak ’N’ Go’, ‘Boys Are Bad’ among many other incredible songs.

 

Kizz Daniel has shown that he is indeed an artist of many parts when he dabbled into lighthearted comedy skits, revealing his funny and witty side.

In 2021, Kizz Daniel released a single titled, ‘Lie’ which has so far, garnered a total of over 50 million streams across all platforms; while its visuals gained 4 million views on Youtube alone within 2 weeks of its release.
