A-Maz-Cant Kill Us artAfter a two-year break, King A-Maz returns with a declaration titled “Can’t Kill Us“. The Maiduguri native who just graduated from the University of Maiduguri with a degree in Engineering explained that Can’t Kill Us was inspired by the brutal killings that were common place in Maiduguri.

He explained that the horrors he witnessed and experienced cannot even be expressed in music. His only consolation lies in the fact that the legacy of the people killed will always remain immortal. The reasons they were targeted and killed are diverse yet what they believed in remains forever.

Can’t Kill Us was inspired by his three late eccentric friends, Shizzy D, Heych and D2; his late pastor George Orjih; his family friend late Ibrahim Stanley Mshelia and every victim of the Boko Haram carnage – both targeted and random.

Can’t Kill Us was produced by the prolific SizzlePRO who is well known for his work on Omawumi’s Lasso of Truth album, and Waje’s Words Aren’t Just Enough album and Yemi Alade’s King of Queens debut album.
