The Ghanaian singer made this known in a Twitter Space interview with @OleleSalvador.
Ghanaian award-winning afrobeats singer Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known as KiDi, has lamented and expressed his thoughts about the inability of Ghanaian musicians to secure victories in the two most renowned award schemes in Ghana, the BET and Grammy Awards.
According to the Lynx Entertainment signed artiste, many Ghanaians are obsessed with the two prestigious award schemes, and they feel incomplete until Ghanaian musicians are also recognised on such platforms.
Speaking in a Twitter Space interview on the “Deep Throat Convo” with @OleleSalvador, Kidi revealed that Ghanaian musicians would love the idea of being recognised on such platforms, but that it takes time.

He lamented Ghanaians’ obsession with the two award schemes, claiming that most musicians have not accomplished enough without winning from these schemes.
He Said:
“A lot of us are too Grammy-obsessed and too BET-obsessed. As an artist I would love to get there one day but I feel like the obsession with the Grammy and BET is too much”
He also stated that the musicians who have received awards through these programs have worked hard to achieve such greatness and that it is only a matter of time before Ghanaians achieve such heights in their careers.
