Popular US music producer/Rapper, Kanye West, has won the award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for his Jesus Is King LP at the 63rd Grammy Awards.
This win makes it the 22nd Grammy award that Kanye West has won in his career.
Other acts nominated in the category include Cody Carnes (Run To The Father), Hillsong Young & Free (All of My Best Friends), We The Kingdom (Holy Water), and Tauren Wells (Citizen of Heaven).
The rapper turned gospel musician won the award just a year after he pulled a stunt on social media with a video that showed him peeing on a Grammy Award plaque which he placed in a toilet bowl.

He followed the act with a series of tweets, saying, “This moment is going to change the music industry for good.
“I feel so humbled and blessed that God put me in a strong enough position to do this… Everyone keep praying… It’s working… I am on my knees this morning.”
