American rapper, Kanye West has revealed his intention to run for the US Presidential election in 2020.
Kanye West who was known to be a friend of the current president of the United State, Donald Trump might be running against him in the forthcoming US election.
However, it’s uncertain if Kanye West is being serious because the 2020 election is only four months away.
Kanye West would have to register with the Federal Election Commission, present a campaign platform, collect enough signatures to get on the November ballot, and more.
He has also missed the deadline to file for as an Independent candidate in many states. This isn’t the first time Kanye West has teased fans with this announcement.
The rapper in 2015 during the MTV Video Music Awards said he would run for President in 2020. He was later said to have changed his message when he tweeted “2014”.
Kanye West has both gained and lost fans over the past few years for his vocal support of Trump but he recently withdrew his support for the President over the Black Lives Matter Movement.
