Kanye West reportedly changes name again in new business filings

Four years after legally changing his name to Ye, iconic rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West has reportedly updated his name once again—this time to Ye Ye.
According to reports, business documents filed in California confirm the change, with filings submitted by West’s chief financial officer, Hussain Lalani, reflecting the updated name across several of the artist’s business entities. Companies including Yeezy Apparel, Yeezy Record Label LLC, and Getting Out Our Dreams Inc. now list Ye Ye as the official manager or member.
Interestingly, earlier filings had occasionally referenced “Ye West,” but this new shift to “Ye Ye” marks yet another evolution in West’s long-standing pattern of redefining his personal and professional identity.
From Grammy wins to groundbreaking fashion moves—and now another reinvention—Ye Ye continues to keep fans, critics, and the industry guessing.

In other news, in a deeply unsettling social media post, Kanye West, who has won 24 Grammy Awards over his career, made disturbing personal revelations connected to a new song titled Cousins.
Shared on his official X account, West revealed that the track is inspired by a relative currently serving a life sentence for the murder of a pregnant woman.
In a candid and troubling message, West claimed that he and his cousin had been exposed to adult material in childhood, referencing his father’s Playboy magazines. He further alleged that the exposure led to inappropriate behavior between them that lasted into his early teenage years.
