Cuppy tells Kanye that Dangote is actually the richest black man
Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, alias DJ Cuppy, has sent a message to American rapper Kanye West after he claimed that he is the richest black man in the world.
Kanye said he made the remark after being barred from visiting his separated wife, Kim Kardashian, to spend time with his children.
The ‘Heartless‘ singer revealed how he was compelled to declare himself the richest black man after Kim Kardashian’s security told him he couldn’t get inside during an appearance on Jason Lee’s Hollywood Unlocked.
He said; “Earlier this week, Monday, when I went to go pick my kids up from school, the security stopped me at the gate.
So at that point, security was in between me and my children and that’s what was not going to happen.
“But I didn’t want to argue about it. So I just chilled, took my kids to school, and then took my kids back.
“I am driving. I bring them back and North was like, ‘I want you to come upstairs and see something.’
“And it’s like, ‘Oh, Daddy can’t come see something. Daddy can’t come inside.’ But that hadn’t been defined.”

Reacting via Twitter, Cuppy said that he isn’t the richest black man. The entertainer stated that her godfather, Aliko Dangote is the only person officially recognized as the richest black man.
She tweeted;
”Random, I know… I am a HUGE @Kanye West fan However with ALL due respect, I feel the need to remind him that he is not the “richest black man” -it is in fact my Godfather @Aliko Dangote. Just clearing the air with #Facts”
