Nigerians may see a Kanye West concert in 2024.
Kanye West has expanded his 2024 touring itinerary to include Lagos. The 24-time Grammy winner is gearing up for the release of his new album, “Vultures,” in collaboration with TY Dolla $ign.
With the release of his album’s three installments slated for the upcoming weeks, beginning with the first on February 9, Kanye West took to his Instagram story to tease a potential touring lineup.
The post showcased a shortlist of cities across the globe, with Cairo, Egypt, Nairobi, Kenya, and Lagos, Nigeria, standing out as the only African destinations.

Should Kanye West include Lagos in his 2024 tour, it would mark his second performance in the city. Previously, he was part of the international artist lineup at the 2007 Mega Star Jam.
Moreover, Kanye West has a history of engagement with Nigerian music. He notably signed D’Banj to his label, GOOD Music, in 2011, and collaborated on the remix of “Scape Goat.”
In 2021, Kanye West praised Wizkid’s “Essence” as the greatest song in the history of music, further highlighting his admiration for Nigerian musical talent.
