KWAM 1 breaks silence on marriage rumours, denies separation from wife Emmanuella
Veteran Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has firmly dismissed viral reports claiming that he and his wife, Aderopo Emmanuella, are no longer together.
In a recent public statement, the music legend addressed growing speculation about his marital status, describing the separation rumours as unfounded and driven by social media misinformation.
“I’m not estranged from Emmanuella. We don’t have any problems. It’s a natural thing to say a woman is jealous. The only problem in a relationship is what rules you are trying to put up,” he stated.
KWAM 1 also took the opportunity to debunk claims that he had reconciled with his former wife, Fathia Titi Marshal, emphatically stating that that chapter of his life is permanently closed.
“Titi Marshall is gone forever, but I can’t shut my eyes out on the three children we shared together because she is gone,” he clarified.
The singer suggested that Emmanuella’s active presence on social media may have contributed to the false narratives about their relationship.
He revealed that he had advised her to step back from online distractions and focus on more meaningful aspects of life, such as her business and their family.
“Emmanuella brought this upon herself because I have told her to leave social media and concentrate on her business. But I guess she didn’t like it that way. She has every right to her own reaction.”
KWAM 1 went on to emphasize his commitment to his marriage, urging the public to ignore the noise and respect their private life.
“She’s not getting younger anymore, she already has two grownups at the university, and the third one is about to join them. So, these are issues we need to ponder over, not social media things. I don’t have any plans to take a new wife. Emmanuella is my only wife.”
