King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as K1 De Ultimate, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the poor status of roads in the southwest region of the country.
K1 De Ultimate during a performance at a party appealed to the Government and urged the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, to find a solution to the problem of roads in the country.
He said it took him four hours to go from his home in Ikeja GRA, Lagos, to the Sagamu Interchange on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, and another four hours to get from Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, to Ede, Osun State.
KWAM1 said he left his residence about 9:45 a.m. but didn’t arrive at the party’s location until around 5 p.m., a journey he believed should have taken no more than two hours and 30 minutes.
The Fuji star noted that the South West makes a significant contribution to the government and should not be taken advantage of.
He claims that he is neither a friend nor an enemy of the administration, but that if he sees things not going as they should, he will speak the truth.

He stated that he just comprehended the Yoruba Nation’s discontent because the government punishes them while patting them on the back.
KWAM1 also discussed the upcoming election and how residents will vote for a government that is concerned about its citizens.
He stated that citizens are suffering and that the government should offer amenities and jobs while acknowledging that the government cannot do everything but should supply the basics.
He said: “Ijoba titi o da,” meaning: “Government, the road is bad.”
