FIFA World Cup: France announces 26-man squad for Qatar, Benzema to lead attack.
France, the defending World Cup champions, has announced its official 26-man squad for Qatar, and they will be hoping to have another successful campaign this time around.
France will attempt to reclaim their World Cup title, aiming to become the third nation to win two World Cups in a row, following Italy (1934, 1938) and Brazil (1958, 1962).
With two World Cup victories, France will make its 16th appearance at the 2022 tournament. And Didier Deschamps will be hopeful that his 26-man team can once again reclaim the most esteemed stage in sports.
With outstanding players at his disposal, manager Deschamps is unconcerned about his players because they have the necessary experience to lead the country through the groups before facing a difficult country.
