    Nigerian singer, Davido has congratulated South African singer, Tyla for winning the category Best African Music Performance at the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony held in Los Angeles.

    Tyla had defeated Nigerian heavyweights, Asake, Davido, Burna Boy and Ayra Starr to secure this win.
    Davido took to his X page to wish the singer well and accoladed her win to Africa’s win.

    His tweet reads, Congratulations on your win @Tyllaaaaaaa ! Big One for africa! Keep soaring !”
