Jude Bellingham accepted Real Madrid contract offer in huge blow to Premier League clubs – and Liga giants ALSO want to complete Kylian Mbappe transfer!
Real Madrid are reasonably set to revive their pursuit of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain, with Jude Bellingham having agreed to the terms.
Mbappe’s contract situation is uncertain and PSG face a tumultuous summer with a change of manager and Lionel Messi and Neymar likely to leave. According to The Telegraph, Real plan to capitalize on the chaos by making a new offer for Mbappe.
Madrid have been pursuing the 24-year-old, including filing a £170 million ($214 million) offer for him last summer before he signed new terms in the foreign capital. France.
Los Blancos are said to have reached an agreement for Dortmund midfielder Bellingham after the player agreed personal terms with the club last week. Although they have not made a formal offer yet, there will be no problem in reaching an agreement with the German side.
Fabrizio Romano revealed Real were scheduled to meet Dortmund later this month for a fee, and Bellingham is said to be “very excited” about the plan in the Spanish capital.
The Telegraph claims Real have discussed signing both Bellingham AND Mbappe in a record summer of spending to launch a new `Galacticos` era. The Frenchman has cast uncertainty on his long-term PSG future after clashing with the club over a season ticket promotional campaign earlier this year. He has also refused to commit to a long-term deal; his current contract expires at the end of next year, although there is the option for a further 12 months.
While Madrid have the Bellingham deal all but sorted, they could yet spend big on Mbappe. In the meantime they are pursuing European success, and play Man City in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final clash next Wednesday.
