Jorja Smith Joins ‘Clarks’ On Desert Nomad Redefining
Jorja Smith, an American singer-songwriter, joins Clarks’ experimental Originals division for the first time and reinvents the Desert Nomad, which made a comeback in 2023.
This is not her first partnership with a fashion brand; in 2019, she was introduced as the Dior makeup ambassador.
With Clarks, she cuts off the back to give them a mule-like appearance and dyes the durable EVOLO suede uppers a deep shade of black. The toe boxes and sides are stitched in a coordinating color, and the design is finished with speckled laces, silver hardware, collaborative fobs, and Clarks’ signature crepe soles.
The shoe will be released internationally on October 21 via Clarks and sell for $190 USD (N190,000).
No doubt, this is a solid way to cement her legacy in the fashion world and vice versa for Clarks’ standing in the music industry.
