Joeboy and Wizard Chan Team Up for New EP “Agaba Romantic.”
Nigerian music sensations Joeboy and Wizard Chan are joining forces for a brand-new EP titled Agaba Romantic. The exciting news first surfaced during a live Twitch session with content creator Romeo WJ, where Joeboy shared, “We had recorded multiple tracks together and felt it was the right moment to release them.”
Wizard Chan later confirmed the collaboration on his Instagram page on January 31, adding that rising star Qing Madi would also make a special appearance on the project.
Although the release date, track list, and cover art remain under wraps, fans are already buzzing about the continuation of a musical partnership that has proven successful in the past. Joeboy and Wizard Chan have previously teamed up on tracks like Loner, I’ll Be Okay, and Heal, fusing their distinct styles into songs that resonate across Afropop and cultural rhythms.

Joeboy’s signature sound is instantly recognizable, featuring infectious melodies and heartfelt tales of love and romance. The EP’s title, Agaba Romantic, nods to Wizard Chan’s established persona. In his single Big Masquerade, he embraces the “Agaba” identity—a reflection of his Niger Delta roots and spiritual motifs. The addition of “Romantic” highlights Joeboy’s Afrobeats lover-boy persona, signaling that fans can expect both heartfelt lyrics and signature grooves.
