Joeboy announces the date for his forthcoming sophomore album “Body & Soul”
Nigerian talented musician, Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus, popularly known as Joeboy, has announced the date for the release of his highly anticipated new album “Body & Soul“
After his mainstream breakthrough with the song “Baby” in 2019, Joeboy has established himself as one of the leading Afrobeats artists. His uplifting and appealing music has made him successful financially.
The highly awaited second album from the award-winning singing superstar will be released on May 19, 2023, as he announced on his social media page.
‘Body & Soul,’ Joeboy’s new album, is set to give fans a lovely experience of his lover boy demeanour.
The album was preceded by two lead singles, “Body & Soul” (which came out in January) and “Duffel Bag” (released on April 7, 2023), both of which were produced by BeatsbyTimmy and E Kelly.
According to Joeboy, fans can expect a handful of exciting collaborations on the album from both local and international superstars.
After making his debut in 2021 with the stunning “Somewhere Between Beauty and Madness,” The singer will release his second album, “Body & Soul,” in 2023.
Since his debut in the mainstream, Joeboy has become a household name with his singles ‘Baby’, ‘Beginning’, ‘Lonely’, and ‘Alcohol‘ enjoying massive commercial success.
In the “Body & Soul,” project Joeboy aims to position himself as a major force in Afrobeats while showcasing new facets of his artistic expression.
