During the video interview, Joeboy admitted that he occasionally uses alcohol as a way of escape, which is why he decided to write a song about it.
Recall, last month, The afrobeat star released “Alcohol”, his first song since releasing his debut album, “Somewhere Between Beauty and Magic”. On TikTok, the song became an instant smash, with many individuals creating videos using the sound.

The challenge quickly changed to people pouring various drinks and foods on themselves, which Joeboy himself rejected. He cautioned his fans not to engage in such risky behavior and absolved himself of any repercussions.

He indicated that he is not an alcoholic, but that when he is faced with a problem and needs to relax, he almost always turns to sweet wine.
