Currently in a relationship with an undisclosed woman for over two years, Joeboy disclosed that he has invested over N50 million in their relationship. This revelation underscores the depth of his commitment and the significance he places on financial compatibility.

Joeboy has stepped forward to defend fellow Afrobeats star Wizkid, asserting that the public may have misinterpreted Wizkid’s recent comments or actions.
Wizkid’s remarks, wherein he stated that he did not solely identify as an Afrobeats artist, sparked significant controversy among Nigerian netizens. However, Joeboy appears to hold the belief that the situation has been misunderstood or misrepresented.
He said, “Wizkid’s statement is being misunderstood, he is not running away from Afrobeats.”
Joeboy expresses his support for Wizkid. “All we are saying is our identity is Afrobeats but please don’t box us because we can make other genres of music too” Joeboy continued.
