    Jonathan Kweku Awote-Mensah, widely known as Jae5, a successful British-Ghanaian record producer and mixing engineer, has revealed why he continues to collaborate with Nigerian musician Burna Boy.

    The award-winning producer, who has worked with heavyweights such as Burna Boy, J Hus, Skepta, Dave, Rema, Koffee, NSG, and a slew of others over the years, named the Nigerian Grammy-award singer, songwriter, and performer as one of the artists he continues to work with despite their talent.

    The singer shocked fans after he revealed that he charges 25 thousand dollars for a beat and a curious fan asked if Dave, Burna and Jhus actually pay the amount.

    In his response, Jae5 who has worked with Burna Boy on songs like ‘Sekkle Down’, ‘Bank On It‘, and other songs, made it known that the reason he keeps working with artists like Burna Boy, Dave, and J Hus is that payment is always smooth with them after he renders them his service.

    In his words;

    “U wana know why I keep working with these guys aside from their talent. We don’t argue or speak about money we just send invoice when works done. Business always correct !”
