The Ghanaian producer uses his social media page to share some personal information with his fans and music lovers.
British-Ghanaian record producer and mixing engineer, Jonathan Kweku Awote-Mensah, professionally known as Jae5, has revealed how much he charges per beat.
The renowned Ghanaian producer has disclosed his beat-making fees.
Over the years, he has collaborated with notable artists like Burna Boy, J Hus, Skepta, Dave, Rema, Koffee, NSG, and a long list of others.
The award-winning producer took to his social media page to share some personal information with his fans and music lovers about how much it costs to work with him.
On the 18th of June, 2022, Jae5 announced on his Twitter page that his production fees begin at £25,000 (about 12 million Naira). He added that he only charges NSG less since the group is family to him.

He wrote:
It’s £25,000 for a beat from me, do not not book a session with me knowing full well you can’t afford the price it’s a disrespect! And if u try reproduce my thing my lawyer will sue u for your little £10 earnings behave yourself. Only ppl who pay under 10 are NSG AND THATS BLOOD.

The producer continued by saying that he also compensates the instrumentalists who work on the beats alongside him, which is why he charges such exorbitant prices.
He added:
I have beats where I’ve spent £8000 on strings that’s not an additional cost to artist it comes out of my fee if the song gets used if not I just lost £8k trust me the expenses on my end ain’t cheap neither.
