Nigerian music executive and talent manager Jada P has addressed criticism surrounding her views on love and her relationship with Afrobeats superstar Wizkid, following reactions to a post she shared on social media.
The 41-year-old, who manages Wizkid’s career, took to her X (formerly Twitter) page to reflect on love, describing it as a beautiful experience when it is genuine and intentional.
“Sometimes you need to do things the other way round to know they’re last forever. Love is beautiful, just find where it is genuinely given,” she wrote.
Her comment, however, quickly sparked debate online, with some users questioning her personal life and criticising her for having children with Wizkid without being legally married to him.

One critic bluntly wrote: “Love is beautiful and you don born 8 pikin, no ring, omoo.”
Unfazed by the criticism, Jada P responded firmly, pushing back against the narrative that marriage is defined solely by legal documentation. She maintained that commitment and partnership go beyond paperwork.
“A wife is a wife before a wife is a wife,” she replied.
The exchange has since continued to generate conversations online, with supporters applauding Jada P for standing her ground, while others remain divided on her perspective on love, partnership, and marriage.
