J. Cole describes working with BTS’ J-hope as a “blessing”

BTS‘ J-Hope recently teamed up with J. Cole for a new unexpected duet titled “On The Street”. In a recent online behind-the-scenes video from the video shoot, J-Hope discusses working with his idol.
“Being able to meet my muse, J. Cole is nerve-wracking,” he said before writing a letter to Cole. “To Cole, Working together with you has been a meaningful moment. I’m rooting for your peace,”

He wrote. “It’s an honor to work with J. Cole. Thank you for making my childhood dream come true and thank you for walking with me ‘on the street’. You’re always an inspiration to me and always gives me good energy. I wish for your health and happiness.”
Hope then went on to meet Cole at the video set, where he watches Cole shooting his part of the visual. “When I started listening to music, the first artist I listened to was J. Cole,” J-hope revealed later. “Being able to work with J. Cole after 10 years as a fan, I’m so happy. It’s just all new and I still can’t believe it.”
