Nigerian artist and songwriter, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, popularly known as Iyanya, has unveiled the release date for his upcoming album, “Once Upon a Cat.” Set to debut on February 2, 2024, the 13-track album promises an immersive experience, as Iyanya also commits to releasing accompanying visuals for all the songs on the same day.
Featuring emerging talents from Nigeria such as Young Duu, Qing Madi, and others, the album showcases Iyanya’s dedication to providing a platform for younger artists. Emphasizing this commitment, Iyanya expressed his intention to ensure that each of the 13 tracks is accompanied by a music video, allowing the featured artists to shine and showcase their talents on February 2, 2024.

I featured some of the most talented artists you will ever meet in the nearest future on my project and some of you are complaining I didn’t get big names on the project. Music is to me is not about big names is about making good music. I promise you will be happy with your ears after listening to this project. This is a masterpiece project and I can’t wait for 12:am on Friday for you to hear it”
