“Last year, I begged to perform at shows” – Singer Iyanya excited after getting over 20 bookings this month
Nigerian singer, Iyanya has a lot to be grateful for as he goes down memory land into the difference between the shows he got in December 2021 and the one he is getting in December 2022.
The 36-year-old musician disclosed in a series of posts on his official Twitter account that he appeared at three performances in December 2021 but was only paid for one of them.
The Kukere crooner, however, expressed gratitude to God as his circumstances improved in December 2022 and mentioned that he had more than 20 performances scheduled in a single month.
The talent show star expressed gratitude to God for the turnaround, stating that he had not had such a busy December since 2017.
Iyanya thanked his followers for listening to his music on streaming services and assured them that 2023 would be a better year for them.

He wrote;
“Last year December 2021, I performed at 3 shows, one paid and I begged to perform at 2 just to be seen.
2022 December, I wake up and everyday to alerts for shows, haven’t had this kind of busy december since 2017.
20+ shows in on month. God Thank you ????????”
