It Was So Disappointing – A Twitter User Blasts Burna Boy And Tems Outfit To Met Gala.
A Twitter influencer, Daniel Regha has criticised Burna Boy’s and Tems‘ Dress at the Met Gala by describing it as disappointing.
On social media, Twitter blogger Daniel Regha criticized the outfit worn by Nigerian singers Tems and Burna Boy to the 2023 Met Gala.
The Grammy-winning Nigerian vocalists made their debut on Monday, May 1, at the glittering fashion event hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, dressed in sophisticated and fashion-forward clothes.
However, it appears that Daniel Regha was not moved by this dress, as he described it as a very disappointing outing for both Tems and Burna Boy.
He wrote:
Burna’s outfit to the 2023 Met Gala was d!sappointing; His hairstyle was OK but the outfit is a no & he wore the same design as Barry Keoghan. Creativity matters. Tems should’ve incorporated an African print in her outfit too. A style icon doesn’t dress to compete or fit a norm.

During the event, Burna Boy showed up wearing a uniform of black and blue clothing with a light check pattern and a generous extension of the same material flowing behind him. Interestingly, the singer had a twin fashion moment when Irish actor Barry Keoghan appeared in similar attire.
Tems‘ stunning fashion moment at the 2023 Oscars is still fresh in fans’ minds, but the singer made a comeback on the red carpet in another eye-catching ensemble.
She looked stunning in a black-and-white outfit. The dress, one of Robert Wun’s most recent signature styles, included an elbow-length pair of gloves, a corset-like black top, and a flowing royal white finish at the bottom.

This is definitely in the history books of records when they talk about African cultural heritage. 🦍❗️ pic.twitter.com/g6nZU1pCYk
