Afro-fusion singer Burna Boy has stated that he is willing to pay Nigerian blogs to stop posting his news and forget about him.

The multi-award wining singer said he was aware that he had not settled any blog in Nigeria before.

He called on bloggers in Nigeria to deliberate on a price and pass it to him to settle them to stop posting about him “totally.”

On his X handle on Friday, Burna Boy wrote, “How far. all these Instablog, PulseNg e.t.c, abeg make all of una do meeting then decide how much I go give all of una make una forget my name totally. I know say I never pay any of una before so I say make I just run am finally. I greet you bros!!”

Here’s how Nigerians reacted to his tweet:

“Burna, the Nigerian blogs u are trying to discredit have contributed to ur growth in life; Some news might be wrong but just like fans, u owe ’em a lot of thanks. Many people won’t hear about u, ur wins, or projects if they hadn’t promoted it. Stop acting like u are self-made, many people paved a way for u.”

Another wrote, “If they stop posting about you, you’ll totally be forgotten, bro.” Unbothered Burna responded by tweeting, “Make I pay money first. If dem born anybody make dem remember my name after I don sort. Sha All these things na because ORAIMO nor use chord again. “

In a similar vein, a user wrote, “Burna Boy nor even regard he fans… he prefer to pay blogs than appreciate his fans for their contributions to his career… I have said it before… you people just keep supporting the wrong artist…”
